Allegr Ltd is proud to celebrate the recent achievement of The Allegr Foundation, which has been officially registered as a charity in England & Wales. This milestone marks a significant advance in their mission to promote health through connection.

The Allegr Foundation, though independent, shares our dedication to enhancing community cohesion and well-being. As a social enterprise, Allegr Ltd supports The Allegr Foundation's endeavours to actively engage communities through their innovative programs.

The Charity Commission's recognition of The Allegr Foundation affirms their commitment to fostering physical and mental health through community activities. Among these, the Walk&Talk program stands out as a prime example of how simple, engaging activities can significantly enhance participants’ well-being. This program, prominently featured within The Military App, is designed to combine physical activity with the power of community engagement, proving highly successful in strengthening bonds and promoting health.

Rachel Mitchell, Co-Founder and Trustee of The Allegr Foundation, shared her excitement:

“We are thrilled to announce our official status as a charity. This enables us to expand our Walk&Talk programs—both Veteran and Community versions—nationwide, reaching more people and magnifying our impact.”

Ben Burch, Co-Founder, added:

“Gaining charity status is a testament to our team's hard work and the community’s support. We are eager to advance our mission and enhance the connectivity and health of the communities we serve with our upcoming fundraising campaign.”

As Allegr Ltd continues to provide the technological platforms that facilitate these connections, we look forward to seeing the growth and success of The Allegr Foundation’s initiatives. Together, we strive to make a lasting positive impact on our society’s physical and mental well-being, reinforcing the vital need for community-centric health activities.
